Mr. Boan has extensive experience in business and immigration law, representing clients and businesses alike both inside the U.S. or abroad in filing visas based on talent, investment, or employment history and others.
Gregory E. Boan, Esq. is a Miami native, speaking Spanish and English fluently, and maintains his proficiency in Portuguese. Having earned three bachelors and a master’s degree from The Florida State University and his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center. Mr. Boan graduated Dean’s List as a Broward County Hispanic Bar Association Scholar, Nova Law Public Service Fellow, Glanzlaw Professionalism Endowment Recipient, and Nova Law Pro Bono Honoree: Gold Level Recipient and is currently a 2018-2020 Fellow of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section.
Experienced as both a litigator and a transactional attorney, Mr. Boan is constantly abreast of changing laws within the business and immigration communities and how governmental affairs can affect outcomes in the courtroom or in your immigration process.
Having previously served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Judge Robert W. Lee of Florida’s 17th Judicial Circuit, and as legal clerk to the City of Fort Lauderdale’s Attorney’s Office, Mr. Boan is well versed in governmental procedures and administrative laws. Mr. Boan has received honorable mention for his writing and research on points of civil and criminal law, professional ethics, LGBT issues, and the Florida Small Claims Rules Annotated.
Mr. Boan has worked in the Republic of Panama with the United Nations on issues of economy, health, rights to land, and litigated and advised on policies including procurement, tax, public arts, voting, real estate development, and land use in the State of Florida.
Mr. Boan is admitted to practice in all Florida courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
